Learning Journeys

From Courses to Curriculums.

You've built individual courses. Now, you can stitch them together into a structured Learning Journey.

πŸ—ΊοΈ What is a Journey?

A Journey is a sequence of courses designed to take a learner from point A to point B.

  • Example A: Sales Onboarding (Week 1 -> Week 2 -> Certification).
  • Example B: Leadership Track (Communication -> Conflict Resolution -> Strategy).

Instead of assigning 5 separate courses, you assign 1 Journey.

πŸ—οΈ The Journey Builder

To create your first curriculum:

  1. Go to the "Journeys" tab in your dashboard.
  2. Click "New Journey".
  3. Give it a Title (e.g., "Full Stack Developer Path") and Description.

Adding Courses

Once inside the builder:

  1. Click "Add Course".
  2. Select from your specific library of published courses.
  3. Visual Sequence: Courses appear in a vertical list. The learner will see them in this exact order.

Organizing the Path

  • Drag & Drop: Use the grip icon to reorder courses.
  • Requirement Level:
    • Required: Learner must complete this to finish the journey.
    • Optional: Supplemental material (e.g., "Deep Dive: Advanced Topics").

πŸš€ Publishing a Journey

Just like courses, Journeys have a Draft and Published state.

  1. Visibility:
    • Public: Visible to everyone in the workspace.
    • Private: Only visible to invited learners.
  2. Publish: Click the toggle in the top-right to make the journey live.

Note: You can only add Published courses to a journey. If a course is still in Draft, finish it first!

πŸ“Š Enrollment & Tracking

You can track progress at the Journey level.

  • Enrollment: See who is taking the path.
  • Progress Bar: Shows the aggregate completion (e.g., "3 of 5 courses completed").

Next Step: Organize your content for specific teams using Hubs. πŸ‘‰ Go to Admin Guide: Hub Management
